Co-owners Jennifer and Jason met in 2013 and, with 25 years of combined restaurant experience, knew they wanted to open a restaurant. They dreamed about it for years, and after a lot of patience the right opportunity came along in 2022.
Together, they took innumerable family recipes and dishes cooked at home to create The Rooster’s Den: something Newburgh was missing. A welcoming, cozy place that becomes your home away from home for home-style cooking.

My wife and daughter frequently eat here. They swear this is the best breakfast in Newburgh. I joined them this morning could not agree more. You have to try the chicken and waffle melt. The restaurant is clean. The staff are very friendly and quick service. Highly recommend!

Their biscuits are wonderful and they serve a hash brown casserole (hash browns, cheese, green onions) which is really delicious. Our server was delightful and attentive and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend! … I had the Classic Burger w/cheese and fries. It was very, very good and huge! Their signature Den sauce has a little kick to it … 5 stars again!
We tried breakfast for the first time over the weekend and it was incredible! We ordered take out and overall it was a great experience! Best breakfast casserole ever! We will be back!
Breakfast is served all day and the coffee is always on.
